Yet to be determined
Paul Harvey this morning, commenting on the election, reported that the Democrats were now in charge. By the end of the day both the house and senate were no longer in the hands of the Republicans. Maybe it was the war. Maybe it was all the corruption. Maybe it was the hypocrisy. Do you think? Anyway Paul mentioned that of course this meant that the country had voted for a "new direction". Then he concluded that as far as that new direction it was "yet to be determined."
Lot of Republicans are gone. They have taken an exit. Of course it is usually the actors that leave the stag and indeed this bunch were.... just actors. Playing parts that they obviously didn't believe in. To bad they let us down.
Of elections T.S Eliot said: "An election is coming, universal peace is declared, and the foxes have a sinere interest in prolonging the lives of the poulty.
Maybe that is the new direction.

Time for some changes that is for sure!
They're still counting here in NM. Seems to be a challenge every election.
I wish Idaho had taken the clue.... None of my D's made it :(
