Plenty to ponder. On the other hand today I thought a lot about how often I "think a lot" and then considered how often I in my conversations talk about the past? The problem is that so many things remind me of something. Discussing this I mentioned to the person I was out hitting all the antique stores with on our "day off" that I was considering trying to just not talk about the past, unless asked. I was reminded of conference when Boyd Packer said that
"young men talk of the future since they have no real past and old men talk of the past since they don't have much of a future".
*
Then my companion mentioned that it may be hard to not talk about the past since my future was ? whatever, less interesting, or something? So the point is maybe not talking about the past will position me more like the young men who talk of the future. Tomorrow is Easter. What a great future event to think about tonight................................
